Its the wall to a new house we’ve recently completed in Wanstead. The cladding material is reconstituted slate, made by Cembrit. The product is ‘Cembonit’, and the colour 'Flint’. It’s a lovely matte material, which retains the texture of slate, makes a beautiful contrast with greenery - while being available in sheets 3 metres long.

However, much of the building will be covered by a green wall. After months of trials, we have chosen the system that we are going to use.
