Project scope -
Our brief was to demolish the existing garage and construct four new self-contained apartments.

The site already contained a Victorian two storey property with basement, with a sizeable plot to the side which housed a single storey garage. This existing gap in the Victorian terrace may have once allowed for horses and carriages to access stables to the rear or perhaps it was a workman's yard.  The surrounding area is predominantly characterised by two storey residential properties.

T-Space's design response compliments the existing aesethic of the street. To maximise on the potential of the new building we introduced a basement level with sunken amenity space to the rear, resulting in the lower level apartment benefiting from natural light.
